Busy weekend #1

So I have been a bad blogger, sorry to the 2 people I know that read my blog! LOL.  We have been REALLY busy with work and life in general! This past weekend was a BIG milestone for Bryan and I.  We left Logan overnight for the first time with my parents.  Heck, he is 13 months old I think it was time! He has been a little cranky with ear infections, poor baby hope he can get tubes soon! But I knew my Mom can handle him, he is a good boy! We were going to be headed to Austin for my friend Mark's graduation party.  We packed up the entire house (just about) and headed over to Brenham on Saturday morning.

 We gave him tons of kisses and made sure I gave my Mom my typed, bulleted, outline of Logan's schedule.  Yes, I am THAT girl.  We had a great time and I saw so many people I had not seen in a LONG time but I missed him so much.  But I did not call, I had to make myself not call the whole weekend, it was hard.  I also realized I am not 18 anymore.  Hey, it was a baby free weekend so we enjoyed an adult beverage or two and the next day I was feeling it.  This is why I don't drink people! I am lame!! The next day I could not WAIT to see my boy! We walked in and he was fast asleep on Paw Paw, it was so sweet.

They even wrote me a little note from "Logan" to put in his baby book about his first overnight stay. We had to head on over to a birthday party after that.  Our good friends Clint and Karla's little girl was turning 3! Her little Minnie Mouse party was so cute and Logan got to play with a lot of babies, but he had the most fun when we walked down to the park!

Well that is busy weekend #1 so busy weekend #2 will be this weekend when we head to Laredo to see family! And after tomorrow I am off until Tuesday, whooo hoooo! Have a great Memorial Day!
