Logan was getting very excited all month as we were talking and planning his tractor party. He is not really obsessed with tractors, he likes them, but I thought it would be a cute theme. Let's be real, next year he will tell me what kind of party he wants. Then my
I was off on Friday so I spent most of the day getting last minute things for his party and getting his present. We went and saw Frozen in the theater, so we got that for him and some other little things. I knew he would get lots at his party! (and he did) We plan on taking him somewhere fun on his actual birthday while we are in Laredo this week.
By the time he came home, all of his tractor party things were up and the look on his face was the best! He was so happy! He looked at me and said "You did all this for me mommy?" that was probably the best ever. But yes, cutting out all the individual cupcake toppers and banners was worth it at that point.
The party was not until the afternoon so we spent most of the morning blowing up balloons in the living room. Which by the way, is the most fun for a kid. Logan kept running though the balloons saying this was the best party ever. Man, we should have just done that, I would have saved some money :)
The party started and when the bounce house arrived, I swear I did not see much of Logan the whole party. That little boy bounced to his heart's content! His face was so red! We dragged him out for cupcakes (he ate 2!), ice cream, the piñata and then presents.
Please excuse my kid for holding himself, I think he had to pee! |
He got so much, he is a lucky little boy! We were so blessed to be surrounded with family and great friends for the afternoon!
